“Coriander and Beans”
I wrote about seeds yesterday. I am going to write about seeds story part 2. I planted last years coriander and beans seeds in spring. They’re doing very well so far.
Actually I never bought beans seeds because these beans were planted by the original owners a few years ago. After I took over the property, I just got seeds from the beans and planted them in spring. Beans are very tough vegetables and easy to grow. Also, they are very nutritious.
I bought coriander last year and got seeds from the flowers late last summer. The seeds are also very good and growing very well. I hope they make some flowers and seeds this year as well. Although, the weather is very cool and up and down. I hope nice dry summer weather will come soon. I want to make coriander leaf dry powder this summer. If I can get many seeds this year, I want eat seeds as well.
“パクチーと豆”
昨日は種について書きました。今日は種パート２を書こうと思います。春に去年にとれたコリアンダー（パクチー・香菜）の種を植えました。今のところよく育っています。
今の家に住みはじめた時に前の家主さんが数年前に植えたインゲン豆ごと引き継ぎその豆からとれた種を植えているので、豆の種を購入したことがありません。豆は丈夫で育てやすくて栄養価も高いのでありがたいです。
パクチーは去年購入して、夏の終わりに咲いた花からとれた種を今年の春に植えました。いい種だったのでとてもよく育っています。今年も花をつけてくれるといいのですが。気温が寒くて安定していないのでどうでしょうか。８月は暑い夏になってくれるといいなと思います。パクチーを乾燥させてパウダーにしたいと考えています。もし今年の種がたくさんとれたら食べる用にもしたいです。
