Bitcoin Must Find Support at Back Test
Good Morning ,
The price of Bitcoin is currently $6882 with around 4.2 billion USD 24 hour trading volume. Bitcoins price has fallen nearly 2.6% since yesterday and has ultimately drug the entire crypto market with it. Very few cryptos are in the green as of this morning.
The question to be answered is whether or not this is a retrace in order to backtest resistance turned support at $6800 of if this was only a dead cat bounce in a continued bear market. Our team is not yet sure of the direction that this market will take. For now we are exiting alts and hedging our long positions with low lev shorts until confirmation of a bounce occurs at $6800.
We will happily wait for $BTC to bounce back a few hundred dollars before re-entering our alt positions. A sold risk/reward opportunity is approaching for a long around the low 6700’s. If that level fails to hold then our team is assuming that new 2018 lows will eventually occur in the coming weeks.
If support is not found between $6700 and the current price, then expect our team to enter net short or heavily hedge positions as a way to profit off of the potential downside.
