QC Community Contest question for the week is...
"New Year - What are you grateful for in 2022? What do you want to achieve in 2023?"
What are you grateful for in 2022?
I'm grateful for all my friends, family and my colleagues. If not for them, I might've not be able to survive this year.
Other than the usual, while this might sound cringe, I am really thankful for Splinterlands and its devs. Due to the aftereffects of COVID, I've been in the house for so long. My body is also more prone to diseases recently, maybe because of lack of exercise and the only way I can earn is through online. Splinterlands is one of my regular income. I get to do something I like, which is drawing and analyzing games, and make a profit of it by joining their weekly contests.
I even had a lucky reward recently from playing the game itself so I'm really thankful for Splinterlands for continuing its game even through COVID, even through the FTX issue, and even through this extended crypto price drop.
What do you want to achieve in 2023?
There are 3 things I mainly want to achieve for the upcoming year:
#1, increase my rank in the Splinterlands art contest leaderboard. If I reach the top 5, I will be amazingly happy and if I could hold that position for a month, I'd be more ecstatic.
#2, Towards the end of the year, I hope to get a decent computer so I could start developing my own Live2D model and start vtubing. I want to make my own model and do vtubing while drawing art and playing games.
#3, in the same timeline as the #2, I hope to start my Etsy shop. Etsy is a place where you can sell stuff, including emotes and other physical things. Imagine it as Shopee or Ebay but you can also sell services like Fiverr. This would increase my revenue which would allow me to do greater things moving forward.
