Hey, Steemit. I’m home, in bed, reflecting on a day or vast productivity. Not only did I get a lot done, but a lot across several projects. I still found time to play a few games of MTG with tarotbyfergus@tarotbyfergus, and spent some quality time with guthrie@guthrie working on “coping skills”. I like getting in to bed late at night, knowing I have something to show for my time. Some relevant evidence that I existed, and accomplished a thing […hopefully several things]. I like giving attention to my art, my friends, myself and my family.

On the subject of “my art”, I spent the last few hour of the night working on photography that I’ve owed for some time. The model’s name is Lynda and I’ve shot with her the last two years in a row during Viva Las Vegas. The expression “…squeaky wheel gets the grease.” Is a steady theme in my life and there’s been a lot of squeaky wheels these last few months. Added to that is a ridiculous travel schedule, but Lynda has always been so polite and patient. Honestly, these were overdue, but so much fun to edit tonight.

We shot together at my friend Sandy’s home in Paradise Palms, NV. I’ve shot at her home once before with my friend vintagevandalizm@vintagevandalizm. She was kind enough to open her home to me again. Lynda is such a knockout and a wonderful model. She thrives on taking direction in posing, and because of my unusual style of diegetic lighting, I need to direct. I found some unusual spaces to capture Lynda, including the use of the dozens of mirrors around Sandy’s home. A nice variety of outfits as well.

These are just the first edits of our shoot from the Spring. I have at least two more sets to still come from this shoot with Lynda. Tomorrow night, I’ll be meeting ghostfish@ghostfish to catch an evening showing of 3 From Hell. Afterwards, hopefully we’ll have some time to talk about coppercoins@coppercoins. There’ll likely be some more comic updates coming by the weekend as well. Thanks for reading and supporting my work here on Steemit!
