“Hello there.”, in my mind in my best Obi Wan voice. bonni@bonni just got guthrie@guthrie a lightsaber with a litany of Star Wars characters voices included with the push of a button, so I’ve been hearing, “Hello there.”, constantly. It’s been a week or so since I’ve posted, though, so, “Hello there.”. I had a great day that involved lunch with lovejoy@lovejoy at Gorkha Palace. Some in between errands and running around, gardening, and closed with a few hours at caffetto@caffetto working on new edits from recent shoots. That’s what I’ll be sharing tonight in another edition of the dark pinup à la carte.

First, I have new work with my friend Stephany from LA. I’ve shared photos of Stephany in several other Hive posts. I met her during Viva Las Vegas last year when she participated in the modeling event I co-hosted with Cervena Fox. There was 12 girls but Stephany really stood out. The images were outstanding and she contacted me weeks later about booking a shoot in Minneapolis. During June of last year, she flew out here and we shot in my home. This time, I was able to meet her in Los Angeles and this is the first shot from our west coast collaboration together.

Second up, this was a shoot from Las Vegas with a prominent up and coming pinup model named Chelsea. She contacted me a few weeks prior to me leaving for the west coast tour and asked about booking a private session. She was the final shoot I was able to schedule for the trip. I knew we’d do great together from her Instagram, but we had great chemistry and she was so easy to work with, it really made the collaboration memorable. I felt on as far as my creativity went, finding unique ways to make arrangements and compositions.

Lastly, this is a new photo with Suicide Girl turned MTG convention and event model, Lua Stardust. We’ve been Instagram friends for years and we’ve always talked about making this creative union happen. She was recently in town for the Minneapolis MTG con and we cobbled together plans for this collaboration. She met at my house and with minimal preparation, we pulled out some stellar dark pinup photos in my living room and office. This was just the first of many to come. I’m so glad the stars aligned. Thanks for reading!
