What’s up, Hive? I’ve been winding down the last couple of hours after making a big dinner. Still experimenting with my newfound love of some mushroom types. There’s a storm rolling through Minneapolis tonight and it’s very calming. 
Alright, so I’m going to share a few new images tonight. I do a post once or twice a month where I just share one edit from the various shoots I’m catching up on in a given week. This first shot is from a shoot in June with a beautiful Panamanian/Chinese/African American model named Stephany. I met her during a shoot with Cervena Fox during Viva Las Vegas, then she flew her and spent the weekend with me for this shoot. It’s been one of my favorites of the year and the session took place in my house. Her styling, hair and make-up were perfect. I love this shot!
This next image is for a client that hired me here in Minneapolis, which is always a pleasure. Any time I can shoot without having to get on a plane, that’s something I hold close to my heart. She had a very specific requirement asking for sexy photos that didn’t reveal her face or identity. I’ve done shots similar to this over the last 20 years and I’ve gotten good at preserving the anonymity while still capturing an intriguing composition. Fortunately, my friend Farah was willing to allow us to shoot in her beautiful home. It was fun editing this one today.
Lastly, this is a shot of Rio Sierhaus, an extremely popular Suicide Girl living in Portland but originally from Minneapolis. We’ve always talked about shooting but she was visiting in July and we finally decided to make it happen. My original location fell through and I ended up going in to Twelve Vultures, a local oddities and curiosities parlor here in NE. I made quick friends with the owner and the next day, Rio met me there for this dark pinup session. I think these will be stand outs for my 2022 shoots come the end of the year. Thanks for reading!
