I had a really, really late night last night. Birds were chirping when I was going to bed. The world is collapsing around us. Anyone holding any crypto is drudging through their day with knots in their stomach, but I’ve been so heads down working on @mirrorpool and
@neverwel, I haven’t focused on it to much aside from the occasional Twitter venting from friends and followers. WordPress has been monopolizing a lot of my time lately, but in a strange way, it’s been fun to unearth this part of my brain. The nostalgia of sitting in front of a Mac, losing hours of my night. Kind of romantic, right?
I made it to @caffetto today and I did so on my electric unicycle. Still trying to get those rides in while I can during this brief temperate weather. While I was there, I sat down to finish the few clients I still owed from the dark pinup modeling workshop I co-hosted with Cervena Fox. One of the women we shot with was named Lisa and she was a standout from the entire event. Lisa is a professional make-up artist and being so familiar with actors, film and set, she felt at home in front of the camera. Cervena’s home was the backdrop for this day of shooting, perfect for Lisa.
She came prepared with a commanding wardrobe with caged lingerie, […blue, which was a really nice change of pace to photograph], and a matching blue Catherine D’Lish robe. We started on the couch but soon made our way to the dinner room table where Cervena and I had adorned the surface with lamps, candles and various skulls […once of which was human]. From that point, Cervena aided with some posing direction and I captured those moments when Lisa found her flow state. Easily, one of the most successful shoots of my time at Viva this year.
Lisa is finished, and tomorrow I’ll be sharing some new work with Evie, or Veronica, the final two remaining clients from the dark pinup workshop with Cervena. This all coincides with a project I’m working on for a Dark Pinup expansion set of NFT’s on WAX. Force multiplier and nothing feels as good as that. For the rest of this evening, I’m going to wind down and work on a few more pages of the @neverwel website. Thanks so much for reading and keeping me alive here on Hive.
