Australian decadance w/ Betty Doll!

Hey, friends! Just sitting down for the evening blog post. I had a meeting this afternoon with a client booking a shoot in the spring, but during that coffee, I told her about Steemit. She was intrigued and I attempted the Steemit elevator pitch. I gave my best, digestible explanation and using @pharesim’s Steem Invite tool, we had her account creation in five minutes. No posts yet, but you can follow @moonangel now. She’s waiting for her @appics confirmation link to start posting. She’s a beauty. High five for Steemit onboarding!

After losing a few games of Magic too many to @tarotbyfergus, I decided to pack it up and get back to work. Now that the holidays have come and gone, I’m returning to a lot of my shoots from Australia and New Zealand. I can’t believe it’s been almost five months since I had the chance to meet @veryspider at a cute Melbourne coffee shop! The work is piling up, but I don’t have any definitive travels plans as of yet, so I’m just keeping my head down and pushing through the Photoshop mountain. This shoot is with Betty.

Betty and I have been Instagram friends for years. I know her when she was a baby Instagram with just a few hundred followers. She’s now a blogger and pinup influencer with over 11K followers. Having the chance to meet her and shoot with her was certainly a highlight of the trip. We shot at Mámor Chocolates in Collingwood. In addition to Betty’s beauty and charming personality, the women that own the boutique treated us to fresh baked scones and high tea. It really doesn’t get much better and was an obvious moment of reflection on my career choice.

I have one more set of photos to return to Betty, so we all have that to look forward to. In the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing work from Auckland and Christchurch, NZ and of course, a few other shoots from Melbourne. @ghostfish and I received our funds from @coppercoins this afternoon and again, thank you to everyone that supported our campaign on IndieGoGo.
