As I visited different places during the Christmas time over the years I realized something. It's regularly a magical time.
Of course, it's supposed to be a magical time. But how come? People are somehow nicer to each other all over the world, they laugh more and generally, they seem to be better people in December. What's the cause?
There could be a few really valid reasons.
As I said, especially in Europe. We are actually willing to travel around continent just to get a mulled wine or punch somewhere else than in our country. Yeah, the Christmas markets might be also a reason. But as I received some data from my personal research, people tend to drink more on the old continent so it makes them happier than anywhere else. I mean the pure drunk happiness.
My conclusion is that if you're not a child who's just looking forward to getting some presents, forget what I just said, take your friends, bae, family or whoever you want and go spent some time together. With mulled wine of course. Enjoy their presence and try to do so not just around Christmas.
PS. Pro tip number one - A shot of some spirit in your punch never killed anybody.
