Average/mediocre works are easy to replicate they are found everywhere. To create great works ~ the ones that are hard to copy, the ones that stands you out from the crowd and make you hard to ignore ~ you must learn to disconnect, to withdraw yourself from all forms of distractions and make your brain sweat.

Switch off your phone(s) and internet connection.

Read.

Study.

Expand your mind.

Embrace the complicated and the difficult. Learn to think through them and proffer solution. The more you do that, the more you break out of the commoditization trap.

Learn new skills.

Make out time to practice everyday.

Write.

Create.

Push yourself beyond your limits to accomplish your goals. Most people don't.

Work on becoming exceptional at what you do. Be the one-and-only, "the only guy in town who can do a certain job."
