Be Careful Out There.

This is a popular Ridge line track with many trail Heads that connect to it (6 that I can think of from my Wainui suburb). It runs along the East side of Wellington Harbour and for the most part it's an easy going track. Biggest complaint, are the tree roots as seen in the photo. These are huge and you need to be careful here, especially in the wet. Sprained or broken ankles would definitely ruin your groups day. Thankfully this only occurs about 12% of the track.

For me I hiked from home to Days Bay, half of the track, took me around 3 hours 1 way. A swim at the beach, so worth it.
