Many times in our lives we are asked "who are you?" We reply by giving our names...because we think our names defines us. Biblically, we are told to give ourselves names that we want to work for us, names that are good like [ faith, Joy, Happiness} and so on. Some even name themselves "Prosperity..or Establishment and even Progress". I mean it's good to have faith and believe that those names will work for us, but then the bible says "faith without works is dead".
Everyday I ask myself these five questions.
These questions above work in sync. Unfortunately for some of us, we skip the first question. If you do not know who you are, what exactly drives you? We are told to discover ourselves but how many of us even take that serious? Everybody wants to be rich. If God gives you 50 million dollars, what will you do with it?
So this is a picture of where I currently reside in the north of Nigeria. The poorest villages have the richest Senators, Governors and holders of security positions yet they lack education, water, good food and are dying everyday. What then is the use of the money If they cannot help their people? What is their mission then?
When a a man discovers himself, he is gold to himself and others around him.
I ask again, Who are you? Are you where you are supposed to be? Are you doing what you are supposed to do? Are you the real version of yourself or the fake version of another person?
A lot of people are struggling to be who they aren't. Some are only motivated because their friends are, and are also doing what their friends are doing. Some even on this platform don't know they are supposed to be original and should just do their thing, what makes them happy. Some are studying medicine when they are supposed to be studying business management. Imagine wrong people filling in the wrong positions.
Take two minutes of your time to ask your creator to show you who you are. Ask him to show you your purpose. Maybe you are not where you are supposed to be. Maybe you are not doing it right. Ask yourself these five questions I mentioned above. Having a lot of money of being famous doesn't mean you have arrived. There is a difference between being rich and being prosperous. Prosperity is wealth, riches and fame all around with people to testify that you are indeed doing something to improve the life of others.
Do what you love to do. do not let the world dictate your future!. Please not every successful person went to school. They built themselves, The planned, followed their dreams after discovering who they where and what their mission here was.
Know who you are and you will fly. Try to be your own kind of different, a rare specie.
