It's my second week on steemit platform and I've been reading more than what I'm writing here. It takes time to get used to with anything new. I've been experimenting with posts and several other things just to get an understanding of different aspects of this great platform.
I have positve hopes for my future as an author(if I may call myself that?lol) on steemit. I've made my fair share of mistakes but I've learned, the first few days were rather difficult and stressful but things eased out. Ofcourse, it's hard to come up with genuine material and I am going to be honest about everyhing, it is difficult to put your thoughts together in a way people would like them. However, I've been using English for over 10 years now but it's not my native tongue and it's difficult to pack everything under one post and the hardest part is to get people to notice your posts.
As a new comer and a week long analysis, I have come up with this theory that people enjoy quick useful posts more than long elaborated ones(if you're not a whale, shark, dolphin and other such exotic aquatic creature). You can write things with real insight and details but let's face it guys the maximum exposer and rewards that you will get has a time span of under 30 minutes. There are great people out there and they often come and click at your post sometimes and if impressed they reward you with their generous upvotes but often a time your posts gets as low as 2 views through out it's lifespan and then it just die off in silence.
With this whole analysis I have decided that everyday I will try to write at least 3 posts and every two days or so I will write an insightful and elaborated post on stuff I like to write, this will preserve the creativity as nobody can deliver 3-4 elaborated posts with research and everything on daily basis. Instead, I am going to post something quick useful and fun every single day as people only like you when you are consitent and useful. Speaking of elaborated posts, guys things such as Philosophy, Psychology, Science, Art, Photography, Sprituality, Paranormal, Technology etc. interests me and you can expect such posts from me. However, I have a Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science, I don't like Computers as I used to, although I kind of know a few things in this particular domain and maybe(just maybe) I will try to write a few things on Computers and such.
Lastly, I would like to thank my 43 followers, guys you're precious to me and I am greatful that you're following me, your support means a lot to me. I am happy that I have progressed this far in a matter of few days, I know it might not look a lot to many of you out there but to me its genuinely matters alot, once again my dear fellow steemians,
