ENG: Anafiotika is an amazing district of Athens. It touches the Acropolis on the eastern slope and is famous for its tiny houses and steep paths. The name comes from the island of Anafi, from which, a lot of workers came to build the city in the 19th century. The houses are so small because there was a law saying that if one can bulid a roofed house during one night then the land automatically becomes the property of that person. Amazing atmosphere of the Cyclades guaranteed!
PL: Anafiotika to niesamowita dzielnica Aten. Przylega do Akropolu od wschodniego zbocza i słynie z malutkich domków i stromych ścieżek. Nazwa pochodzi od wyspy Anafi, z której przybyło wielu robotników, aby budować miasto w XIX wieku. Domki są tak małe, ponieważ istniało prawo, które głosiło, że jeżeli ktoś zbuduje zadaszony dom w ciągu jedej nocy, automatycznie staje się właścicielem tego gruntu.
