The truth told is always bitter while the lies are always a balanced diet filled with sweetness. where the poor boy emeka stole the principal cap with the principal of the school calling for a Parent and Teacher Association meeting (PTA) because of the lost cap and others, oops... Emeka father wear the cap to the PTA Meeting
Mr and Mrs James, a notoriously poor family known for being poor, have three children with the elder one named after Emeka who is still a teenager ready to make his first entry in JSS1. Early one good Monday morning he has to step on to school with his dad for Junior secondary registration with the little money they have gathered so far.
It was exactly 6:45 AM when emeka mum knock at Emeka door, with the sleepy and Emeka sluggishly response "Who is that?" And his mum responded "Is Me" and his mum went on "Emeka, get prepared for school, your Dad is already getting prepared too".
"Ok ma i will soon be ready" Emeka went in to prepare immediately after an hour plus went straight to his Dad, "Dad am done preparing" and his Dad his responded "go I will meet you in school"
Reaching the school premises without the school uniform the Gate man stopped him, "Hey are you a student of this School or are you new to this school" he went on and a replied "Yes Sir" The gate man went on and gave him a seat to relax for the moment till when the principal was in school. Coincidentally, his Dad and the principal check into the school.
After some minutes, Emeka and his Dad were ushered into the principal's office. "Good morning, you both can have a seat" as they all sat down, the principal asked "Young boy, what is your name?" And he went on and responded "am Emeka" and his dad went on, "I am his father and I am here for my son's Junior secondary registration" After all the process Emeka was Introduced and was given a new class while his Dad left to meet up with his business for that day.
After a month, Emeka has been going to school, with many reports pending on him on how he steals in the class, with a lot of reports filling up his teacher's ear. He was slightly caught a day when he stole his classmate #1500 known as Jane which was the money that was given to her for her work payment, fortunately for him was slightly caught and he denied the little girl that he didn't see anything talk more of taking her money, at that point he was reported immediately to the principal for the first time.
Reaching the principal office, the principal ask him "Are you Emeka?" He replied "yes I am" and he went on to ask him did you take any #1500 that belong to Jane?*** He replied "No" after series of interrogation and denial over the money, he was free to go home since the school has dismissed for the day, the principal sent for Jane, when Jane came, the principal "Jane, exercise patience till tomorrow the case will be interrogated well when they come the next day" she replied "Yes sir, thank you sir". They all left without knowing that Emeka took the principal new face cap in his back and left. As he wanted to lock the office door, he remembered he forgot to wear his face cap and he went back to his office and searched and he didn't see it.
The next day has come with with Emeka in school with his case in the principal office, he sent for Emeka and Jane, knocking at the principal door, he replied "Come in" furiously The principal asked "Did any of you take my cap on the table yesterday?" Emeka denied and Jane did the same, with that anger "I know what to do, leave my office, I will attend to your case later" They all left, after 1:30 minutes the bell rang and they all gathered and an official impromptu memo was shared to all the students with the intention for an emergency meeting over the highest rate of theft in the JSS1 class.
Emeka gladly collectd his own memo without reading what was inside, reaching home "Dad this is what was given to you" His dad went on to open it in front of Emeka, reading through it was an temergence Parent and Teachers Meeting the next day. Early the next morning Emeka went to school ahead of his dad with his dad reporting at the meeting as the meeting was actually goings-on, coming inside the hall was filled with different parents, with him wearing the stolen face cap without knowing that his son stole it from the principal office.
As Mr James was ushered the front seat the principal saw him with the face cap, he went on to hand over the meeting to his vice continue as he went on straight to Mr James Emeka father and ask him "please can I see you briefly" Mr James replied "Yes sure"They both went outside the meeting, after introducing themselves as the principal of the school, "please sir, don't be offended, how do you manage to get this cap written with my name on top?" And Mr James replied "I saw it in my house and my son came back with it a few days ago." The principal was shocked and immediately sent for Emeka.
With Emeka arriving the principal ask him in his father present ask him "Emeka, where did you get this cap?" And he replied "From your office sir" The Principal replied "Oh you collect my cap as I called you for interrogation, Mr James can you imagine this?"*** Mr James replied "sorry principle I will handle this when I get home with home"
"No problem Mr James" he collected his cap and went back while he left the both aside..
