Greetings beautiful people!
When I saw the topic for this second episode of the Weekly Featured Contest in Hive Learners community, I first of all laughed out loud, do you know why? Our WhatsApp group chat was shaken again today馃槀.

That's to tell you how funny my secondary school set is.
But nevertheless, we once had a reunion and ever since then, things have not been in order due to the fact that we are too INTELLIGENT.
Let me tell you a little about us;
We were very "Intelligent" and always hate ourselves due to science class and art class saga. Those of us in SCIENCE CLASS were always seen by teachers as the serious set while those in SOCIAL AND ART CLASSES were seen as the dullard. I know it's not good but that's how we saw it and the bant & hatred were always at peak.
I can't remember the precise year that we had the reunion but it wasn't immediately after we graduated.
During the preparation of the meeting in December, 80% of us were added to a WhatsApp group, we agreed on things to do on that day but when it got to finances, everyone disappeared, some of them in social classes then, jokingly insisted that science people should finance the event because we should be more successful by then馃槀.
Series of announcements were made on the group to awaken everyone towards the financial commitment, but it almost resulted to null. It was by force that we managed to get the money needed for the event from members...yeah, we moved from house to house few days to the event to collect the money. Honestly, things were tough then but the truth was that people were not ready to release money.
The venue was a beach close to my house, so I handled most of the arrangement due to the fact that my house was close by.
The day came and all things were set(as I assumed) but little did I know that village people had planned us that day.
The beach has a wide space of garden in such a way that one can hold event in one corner and it won't affect others.
We all assembled to kick off the event and the generator refused to start. We spent almost 2hrs to get the generator started and we were all happy for that.
Another bigger problem came when we tried to switch on the musical instruments, all of them refused to work. At that moment, we started arguing and blaming those that insisted that we must be our own Dj instead of hiring a DJ.
It was a heated argument and the heat landed well on us that suggested that we should be our own DJ in order to save money.
After series of trials to make the appliances work, all efforts were null so we abandoned the music & sounds and headed back to the meeting. By then, we weren't in good terms again, anger had fused up the environment.
We Just suggested that we should share food and eat because the moment has been spoilt already.
Did I mentioned that we scheduled the day for our change of post? Wahalal!馃槀
As we were eating, we decided to carry on with the election and as soon as the papers for elections were brought, one of us got us, collected the papers and torn them in the presence of everyone, he was so angry at the pour coordination, hence there's no need to continue anything like old school association.
At that moment, some of us got angry while some of us busted into laughter and that's how it has been until last year's December when they(we) tried to assemble again on WhatsApp to amend our ways and go for another reunion party.
The whatsApp group got heated again that day and with alot of "intelligent" talks.
The first WhatsApp group was muted and new one was created earlier this year and asked those that are interested to join. I didn't joined because I don't support segregation, if we can't stay in one place to amend our ways, then there's no need for meeting again.
This is what happens when you have too many "I Too Know" in one class.
Sometimes I feel ashamed when I see those our younger ones in school back then, well organized and doing fine but look at us their SENIORS, we are still finding who is right and wrong.
But, the truth is that, I'm currently hunting for money and I can't be found in any gathering that won't yield money馃.
