Season greetings!
Yesterday, being New Year’s Day, I decided to put a call through to my neighbours at my place of residence to hear from them and wish them a happy new year, as the custom has been. While we were talking, I asked after the small boy of six years old who usually sings a song I find very funny. He was given the phone, and I requested that he sing the song, which he did without hesitation.
“Nascra Nascra”
“Drink Action Bitter”
“Carry one baby knack”
I could not hold my laughter at his serious tone, which he usually uses to sing the song, coupled with the fact that the lyrics are totally rough and odd.
“Carry one baby knack.”
This is the roughest part of the lyrics, and it means to have “fun” with a woman. So you see what the boy sings so easily, and people laugh at how he sings it. I have asked him how he got to know the song, and he usually says he learned it from school, which means his classmates sing the lyrics too. How bad it is!
These days, it is almost impossible to control the kind of songs children listen to and sing. Even if it is controlled at home by parents regulating the kind of songs their children listen to, it is almost impossible for them not to be influenced by their peers in school. Sometimes, it is not as if these songs are allowed to be played by pupils of that age in school, since some schools do not allow the use of phones by them. It could happen through the karaoke-style singing of lyrics by the “corrupt” kids, and it goes ahead to get into the brains of the innocent ones.
This boy sings that particular part of the song all the time, and his mum and everyone else laugh and applaud him, including me. Hey, it is very funny, even though the lyrics are odd.
The song was done by Famous Pluto, and it is titled Nascra Nascra.
Thanks for reading.
