Movies have done so well in portraying superpowers, making them look real as if they exist in real life. In some of these movies, no matter what people say, I've concluded in my mind that the superpowers and super creatures therein are in existence in real world. I know it's not only that's on this table 馃槄.
Among all the movies with superpowers I've watched, both magical and tech sci-fi, the one that freaked me out the most is the one containing human teleportation. I was so freaked to the extent that I had to pause the movie and go into research to know whether it's in existence. Well, Google didn't help much; I switched to YouTube, and there I found some clips demonstrating its "almost in existence," and I was amazed.
Do you know what it takes for someone to appear and disappear in any place in our real world via technology, without the use of magic or witchcraft? I know we've seen this in real life via witchcraft, but here, there's no witchcrafting at all; it's just technology.
Why do I want human teleportation to come into existence?
Just as we've seen in many movies, this is the easiest, biggest, safest, and fastest way of transportation. With this, one can appear anywhere in the world at a glance via a click on a button or maybe via a call on the phone. This is more real than the promised incoming metaverse...I'm sure you know of the promised virtual world that's coming
If this happens to be in existence, then various meetups we've seen in this blockchain would have a fuller house because getting to the selected location won't cost any dime. I've heard and read of many organised meetings on this blockchain, and many times, I just wish it were possible to appear at the location.
Imagine appearing in Europe to watch live matches.
Imagine appearing in London to get a feel of their world. Hey! I love snow, and I'm dreaming of being in a snowy land one day. With the availability of teleportation, it's going to be a dream come true for me.
Have you thought of the accident-free pattern of transportation? With teleportation, there's no risk of an accident, as it's more like passing through a void. Do you know that there are a lot of people who have vowed not to travel by air due to fear of an aeroplane crash? This will be a good alternative for them.
The part that I love most is that I don't need to sit on a spot and feel nausea while on the journey, as I usually feel whenever I make a transit in a car. That's the major reason why I removed travelling as my hobby.
I have many friends on this list that will easily adopt this because of their cry of motion fever whenever in transit.
Won't there be a combating problem?
For now, I've not thought of any possible problems that teleportation will cause to our world, aside from the fact that it may likely be expensive and won't be available to average people.
