Yesterday I decided that I would vegetate. I decided not doing anything whatsoever would be a welcome break and ended up watching movies on YouTube.😀😀
One of the movies that I watched is called the, "Ultimate Gift." Although I do not descend from a wealthy family, this movie had an impact on me. The movie is based upon the book by Jim Stovall. His website is down and/or discontinued, however, I did find this archive. ★★★★★

On to the storyline synopsis:
The young man portrayed in the story had a grandfather who asked him to do 12 things in order to find out what is inheritance would be.♣︎♣︎♣︎♣︎
These 12 items would eventually lead to the ultimate gift from the grandfather.
As the story unfolds we discover that the grandson did not like his grandfather because he blamed his father's death on him.♕♕♕♕♕♕♕
But rather than ruin the storyline for you and allowing you to watch without a prejudgement. Cutting to the chase. Here is the list of 12 gifts and their relevance to me. ♟♟♟♟♟
The gift of Work. I have been working since I was old enough to pull weeds out of the garden. However, my one regret about my father is this. His maxim was this, “when you graduate from High School and/or reach the age of 18 you will be out of the house. So go out and get a job.” ♙♙♙♙♙ Why would I regret this about my father? I have learned, it is better to learn how to work for yourself than learn how to work for someone else.

The gift of Money. I still am struggling with this. ⚃⚃⚃ I am currently enrolled at “Mindvalley” taking a course called, “Money EQ.” I have also read Rich Dad, Poor Dad. My thoughts are this, parents should be teaching their children these principles about money vs. the “Herd Narrative” of get a H.S. Diploma, get a college diploma and get a job.
The gift of Friends. This saying goes way back in our history of the planet. I.E. Tell me who your friends are and I will tell you who you are. ⚁⚁⚁⚁⚁ Be selective in your friendships knowing that friendships are to elevate us, challenge us and become better versions of ourselves. “Iron sharpens iron”
The gift of learning..For me this is the key component. The “Keystone” to building your life. Without continually learning about all other 11 aspects you will become stuck in your biological, sociological and family programming that you have acquired since you were a child. In order to change you are going to, ☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎“HAVE TO”, challenge the framework you learned in the first 12 years of your life. It will take you the rest of your life to change the course of those first 12 years of life.
The gift of Problems. Without problems you would not grow as a person. In this PC world of today it is no longer considered a problem, but a “Challenge”. 😀😀😀
The gift of Family. Society through programming, TV, Radio, Movies and Social Media, is in a destructive pattern of destroying family. That is why it is called T.V. programming. Think about it? Family are the ties that bind. Families ground us while dysfunctional families challenge us. All in all families can help or they can hinder. But it is your decision to CHOOSE how to change your family dynamic. 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦 First, stop blaming your mom and dad for what you don’t have. I have several regrets about my father, however, he was an example of what not to do as well as what to do. I do not blame him or my mother now. At one time I did, why? It is part of the “Herd” narrative of not accepting responsibility for one’s OWN ACTIONS. 🇦🇽🇧🇷🇧🇿
The gift of Laughter. Humor lightens a tense situation, moment, etc. Laughter brings out the best of all of our abilities and it is a proven scientific fact.
The gift of dreams. Without a dream you will perish. No dreams and no aspirations leads to a life of senseless wandering. 🇪🇪🇫🇮🇫🇴🇸🇻
The gift of Giving. Better to give than receive. When we decide in our hearts and minds that we are all one then giving to others is giving to ourselves. 🇨🇰🇫🇴🇫🇷🇵🇫
The gift of Gratitude. Daily gratitude is a must, wether in the morning or at night list what happened in your life that you are grateful for. Gratitude begets gratitude and your psyche will crave more of those “Good” feelings until it becomes self-fulfilling. 🎌🇯🇪🇮🇷🇮🇶
The gift of a Day. Make your day the best because there may not be a tomorrow.
The gift of love. We have two choices in Life. Live in Love or live in Fear. The best way to deal with fear is to recognize it and bless it in love. Love conquers all. 🇰🇮🇱🇸🇱🇧🇱🇻
