I vacillate between dyeing solid colors and hand painting my skeins. I'm going for a painterly effect these days, so once again I knitted blanks and dyed them with a paintbrush. Then I wrapped the blanks in plastic wrap and steamed them for about an hour.
Right now, I'm swatching to find the best pattern for the yarns. I'll probably be up late doing a lot more.Not sure if this design is going to showcase the yarn's colors the best.
The idea is to make some fingerless mitts.
