Chunky fluffy blanket - MiL christmas gift

I made this blanket for @alioops mum for christmas last year and she loved it! Its chunky and cosy, and to me it has a very foresty or garden feel to it. Shes a nature lover so suits her down to the tee!

I used two strands of dk yarn for each round and its a simple granny square pattern. The border has a fluffy yarn through for a bit of luxury. It is huge and MiL is teeny, so she can really envelope herself in it :)
