MY PERFECT MONDAY

Sundays for me are very stressful because I'm often caught up in weekend activities, if I'm not in church, I'm in a very important function or a performance center of which all of these activities would take me the entire day. Reaching home, the only strength I would be having left is to eat and sleep. But then again, I remember tomorrow is Monday, and I'm like "can someone just postpone tomorrow please 🥺" 😂 obviously that's something impossible to achieve, however, I'm always happy when a public holiday falls on Monday. This would mean no work, so I would be getting my much needed rest.

If I'm to create my perfect Monday, first thing first, it will not start from 12:am😂. Instead it would start from 12: 00 PM. If that can be achieved, I'm okay with whatever thing Monday has to offer. I'm not the kind of person who would change my Monday activities, if for any reason at all, I'm very strict with them. Monday is a time to plan for the new week, recess the failed plans of the previous week, and find a way to strategize for the new week. This though is often a lot of work, but at the end of the day, it's always worth it. For me, it's all okay just as long it starts from 12: 00pm😂.

Recently, I've had the opportunity to live my perfect Monday after resigning from my job. The joy of getting back home on Sunday without having to worry about Monday is always refreshing, that breath of fresh air when you know you can work at your own pace. I think this is the point I'm trying to drive all along. My perfect Monday would be me starting out the week at my own pace. This is harder than you think, especially when there is no one to boss you around and tell you what to do. At this point, every wrong strategy is on you, and when you have failed woefully in your endeavor as I have, you begin to get scared of Mondays knowing it will come and you might make the wrong call.

Working at my pace would also mean getting to wake up whenever I want, and if I don't like to work, I can decide to eat and go back to bed bearing the repercussions of doing that work later with everything I have to do on my TO-DO list. Now from here it's easy to see just how hard it is, it's easy to say be disciplined, but sometimes the body just wants to sleep, and having the liberty to do whatever you wish can be intriguing and scary at the same time. But again, using this gift many are not opportuned to have is something special, and if used wisely can be more productive. So I think that's all for how I would want my perfect Monday to look like, because I'm already living it.
