A backstory for a backstory haha, I think you're right though. Context is needed as I read it back from the perspective of someone who knows nothing other than this story, I can see that more is needed. I have been writing a bunch of storys all set in this universe for over a month now, it's one reason I love Hive so much. It's allowing me to write chapters in bite sized segments.

Originally I wrote a story for the ink well, but, it stayed in my mind so I ended up going back to it and writing Part 2 and 3 of that first write up and I gave it a good ending, but I heard then about the ink wells rules on serials. So from there on I wrote other characters and stories in 3 part segments which I find easy to manage, but I wrote them into the freewriters community. I wanted to come back to the ink well with this story as I knew I could tell it in just one write up.
