I started constructing one of the larger sets from the most recent bundle I picked up, that being the Pelican Dropship.
It has always been one of my favourite ships of any game franchise.
Two troop transport drop ships stick out to me as being my favourite above all else. The Pelican, and the LAAT Gunship from star wars.
Most of the decals are still present and I had to take care to place bricks that had them attached, in the correct area.
I couldn't get a good picture of it, but there are chairs inside the body of the ship, for the characters to sit in.
It's fairly large, and it has a nice bit of weight to it. For something that is 10-15 years old, it's in surprisingly good nick, and it's nice to see that the decals are still firmly attached.
It's a beast of a thing. This, and the Elephant are the two large sets from the collection I picked up.
There is one more kind of large ship, but it's nowhere near as big as this one.
It's not the best angle but you can kind of see what I mean.
You can actually see through there into the small interior section.
This comes with three Spartans and a pilot. They're all fairly cool looking, and this set would be perfect for a diorama of some kind.
It's currently on display in my office, but I'll have it photographed and listed soon, along with a bunch of other sets I have ready to photograph.
This goes for around 120 - 150, but I have seen it go for as much as 200 if it's complete, and luckily this one is.
I'll have to really research it before listing it, because I don't want to undercut myself. Even having it on the high side, there's nothing stopping an interested buyer placing an offer of a bit less.
I don't mind negotiating with buyers so we can come to a deal that leaves us both satisfied.
