Last Tuesday, @verasj invited me to join some talks by sifu @bitrocker2020 at Hotel N°5 Kota Kinabalu. It is my first time Steemit meetup and also first time attending Steemit formal talks.

@verasj, @celo769 and I, went straight from our office. We had a quick dinner first (I need to be fed every 3 hours) at Top 9 Millennium before going to the event.

@beverlyjoe met us at the hotel lobby and we went straight to first floor where we were asked to register our names and all that. I ask @verasj to register for me as I really need to go to the loo. I texted @verasj to spare me a seat. Once I entered the hall, to my surprise @verasj seated us right before front row. Dang....
we are like VIP's lol!

First session, sifu @bitrocker2020 talks about what is blockchain, the crytocurrencies current trends and Steem Blockchain. Honestly I am a bit blurred except for the part of steemit and its posting and upvoting. Still in my learning journey.

Another highlights talks by @bitrocker2020 is that Steemit in Sabah itself has a bright potential because to date we have more than 300 members and counting.

Introduction to AES is covered by Damian. AES is a shortform for ASEAN Exchange System which have similarity to Remitano and Luno but it feat a little bit more offers than those two. The only thing I remember is that AES has 2 level security and authentication for user login and account access which is Web and App based.

AES is scheduled to be launched on 16 July, 2018. The best part is Sabah is the first country they went for AES KICK OFF

It was an amazing experience and also an eye opener for me to attend this talks. Its like a before exam revision about Steemit. As for the AES side, everybody who attended got the to own 25 AES F.O.C...
