The valley of the hot springs, which is located in Kerlingarfjöll, is called Hveradalir. This is one of the largest and most interesting geothermal valleys in Iceland. The place is not completely empty: there is a good camping site in Kerlingarfjöll, a few kilometers away, in which we spent the night on arrival, there are also guest houses.
And the next day we went to admire Hveradalir. Among the information that we found before the trip, we learned that in Kerlingarfjöll there are also tracks for 1 and 3 days. The route for 3 days is a roundabout, about 47 km long, with two places for spending the night on the way. At the same time, the rout also passes through geothermal areas in these mountains, and it isn't crowded with tourists.
We chose the most simple and attractive way, about 3 km, on the Hveradalir. And did not regret it)
