HOW THE HELL DID I GET HERE!?

I came from the WAX blockchain.

Not so long ago a friend told me “Brother, your good at games, right!? And we got nothing better to do after working hours, we spend a lot of money on games why not play and earn at the same time?”

So, I did…

But there is this one game that connects WAX to HIVE and that is Splinterlands… It's a surprisingly good game (this is me judging a book by its cover).

It has a lot of depth and gameplay. It’s a strategy game where you out smart your opponent by countering their battle plan.

Common things I check before I finalize my strategy. Opponent's previous magic used, amount of mana available, my personal experience in dealing with these situation and my own history of attributes used.

Having good or better cards gives you an advantage of having more options or solutions to solve a probability of combination that your opponent might throw at you, but having a good intuition trumps this (and high luck trumps everything).

Because of the possibility of having more games like this, I decided to explore HIVE.

I ended up or I stumbled into Ecency because of the words: free,
Instant, and only requires verification by email. 😍

Looking around felt like I was back in high school trying to join a club and hoping the 'try outs' wasn't so bad.

Found The Ink Well community of short story writers and The Inkwell Weekly Prompt where our community authors submit their short stories.

I am not a good writer (never thought I was), I am more of a story teller, been doing that since I was kid... when then it hit me.

‘Why not put it to writing?’ told myself.

I tried but sentencing, paragraphs and proper grammar is overwhelming. I have read hundreds of books and still I don't feel I am getting any better at writing.

So, I decided to read books about 'writing' 😂.

There I learn and I quote from my memory:

“There is no proper way of writing, adopt a way or find your own way of writing then perfect it or as close as you can get.”

So, I did… not perfect it or even get close — but I did found and adopted a way of writing which I enjoy, and make me feel like I'm telling a story.

Posted Sleeping with a Princess 'forever' and 'love and despair for The Inkwell Prompt #38 and #39 respectively.

I was looking at it — like I am joining a Guild or a Squad, and I need to show some 'mettle' to be accepted. Felt like an idiot, when I realized that wasn't the case.

"Community" is the keyword... @theinkwell is a community that helps develop aspiring writers. (there is no level requirement, nor are they looking for a specific class/job and you don't even need to solo a dungeon run to prove yourself)

Then @lovesniper found me while I was messing around the blockchain (lost, confuse and got no idea what to do next), told me to introduce myself to the whole community... that’s how this ended up here and I think that’s proper since I will be working with you guys.

And I also promised, that I will do my Introduction — this week.
