Notes:I finally have a hold of setting up my raspberry pi webserver from scratch today. Not everything is running smoothly as I am unable to get my static files to load through Nginx. I may as well spend the next few weeks learning the front-end side of my project while taking a separate part of my day to figure out the back end with django. The python quants platform seems quite dense. There is a lot of material to absorb in a one quarter. I've spent most of my time on the computer in the past few days learning something new.
When I'm lagging with a solution, I'm at the hot tub of my local gym soaking it all in and thinking about how i should troubleshoot my mistakes. I swim a couple laps with some music turned up. It seems, more recently, that the gym has been getting more crowded recently. I was hoping this wouldn't be the case as the New Years resolution passes.
I'll be taking a load of classes next week. I expect to handle this upcoming quarter well and keep a small tab on cryptocurrencies as well. I wonder if I can knock in a vacation while I complete all my studies online.
Lately at night before bed, I've been watching a Spanish series on Netflix called "El Ministerio del Tiempo." It's about a trio of time travelers that work in coordination under the bureaucratic ministry of time. I've always wanted to improve my Spanish, but they talk quickly in the series. I have ideas in my head about living in a Spanish speaking country some day. I do feel like I have a different personality when I switch between languages. I feel funny when I'm speaking Spanish; i feel shy while speaking Vietnamese; and I feel like candid when I'm using English.
I feel a sense of individuality these days. More days of spending time alone and taking care of my own business. I wonder about my family and my friends. I feel a sense of nostalgia with them, and as nice as some people make it seem as they speak of it, I don't think that it is a pleasant idea to mentally daydream of the past. On the contrary, the peace and silence makes up for my lack of focus.
This is the spice to my life. Rainbow peppercorns composed of Brazilian Pink, Indian Green, Malaysian White, and and Indian Black tellicherry. I just love the sound of the grinding peppers. I use this in conjunction with my turmeric.
