The only head of state that I know has a pet frog is the president of Indonesia, President Jokowi. A unique hobby, of course. He keeps many frogs for their voice, because the sound of frogs will be able to remind the president into the rural atmosphere in Indonesia, which whenever it rains, will be heard the sound of frogs from all directions.
In our countryside, the frogs and sounds of these amphibians, a very ordinary and natural one, and therefore no one tries to make frogs as pets, although sometimes there are people who use them as fishing lures to fish certain.
I talked about this, because yesterday while I was doing my work as a researcher of history of the middle ages of Aceh, Sumatra and Southeast Asia, suddenly there was a little frog jumping on an ancient tombstone, which I was documenting. Of course, that little frog had messed up my concentration for a moment, because I became interested in taking pictures of it.
What impressed me was that the little animal seemed to want to show itself to me, ya... but certainly it's impossible that little amphibian knows I'll make a post about it in
