I drove to the office today because I needed to buy some stuff which I’ll need to carry and it didn’t seem like my two hands were capable of doing that. The office was the regular stuff, I cleared my task even before break time, but there were other stuff I need feedback on to continue so those are hanging somewhere. Lol.
During break time I was able to finally get a good school bag for our kid, it involve walking a lot, moving from one area of the market to another. I should think this bag should last him a longer time than the previous one. School fever was all around the market, parents shopping for their kids needs. This is a fresh school calendar and the kids are entering new academic session and classes so I guess every parent wants their kids to be at their best and having that is required of them.
I told my wife that some of you asked about the Amala and Ewedu soup I ate yesterday and that I didn’t remember to take a picture of it. So today, for dinner she made Amala and ogbono soup with Bitterleaf as the vegetable in the mix. By the way the Bitterleaf was harvested from our garden.
After getting that into where it belongs I had to go for a walk to lighten me a bit. Like I mentioned yesterday, Amala is mostly eaten in the western region of our country while I am from the Eastern region but recede in Lagos which is in the western. Ogbono soup is eaten in both regions. I’ve traveled and lived a bit in all the regions but mostly in Lagos and I must say I eat virtually all types of food.

I like country music a lot and one of my oldie favorite artist is Kenny Rogers, not that we are bearing the same first names or that he makes having a beard look sexy and cool, he has so many songs to his credit and he has performed a lot of collabos with other great and his voice is very unique too. One of the songs I listen to and still find myself imagining a scene in a casino. Lol. Not a gambler but watching too many films can do a lot to ones imagination. I hope you folks remember this song titled “The Gambler”, hope you enjoy the song.
