AMAZING HEALTH BENEFITS UNKNOWN TO PEOPLE
I'll advice you to practice these few tips. "Prevention is better than cure"
This old idiom has been passed down from generation to generation. It's always better to nip health problem in the bud before it manifests in the body.
Benjamin Franklin said "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure"
Some of the health tips are;
(1) For healthy teeth, don't brush after eating...................but why?
After eating and taking drinks, don't brush immediately, especially if they are acidic. Acidic foods are, tomatoes, sports drink(lucozade sport), soda(both regular and diet), citrus etc. They soften the enamel. Brushing your teeth at this point can speed up the acid's effect on your enamel and erode the layer underneath.
(2) Skip energy drinks when you're tired..........................but why?
Energy drinks contain five times more caffeine than coffee and the boost they provide is fleeting and comes with unpleasant side effects such as nervousness(some persons), irritability (a lot of people) and rapid heartbeat (almost everyone). They contain a high level of taurine(central nervous system stimulant) and upwards of 60grams of sugar per can. It spikes blood sugar level temporarily only to crash soon after leaving you sluggish and foggyheaded, making you to reach for another energy drink.
(3) Take Vitamin C almost everyday............... But why?
Our body needs at least 90mg of Vitamin C per day and we can get Vitamin C by eating oranges and guava. It musn't be through Vitamin C tablets(drug)
(4) You need folic acid.............................. But why?
All pregnant mums need folic acid. If your immune system is low, you need folic acid.
Folic acid prevents spina bifida in unborn babies. Spina bifida is when the baby is born with the spinal cord exposed to the exterior and not covered with skin(a very deadly condition). Folic acid is found in green leafy vegetables, in liver, etc
(5) Bend as much as you can......what do I mean? I mean you should Bend your spine and stretch and stretch for like 20minutes upwards. But don't get over-exhausted.......
