Love, in this recent era, means so many things to too many people. It is one of the words that's getting overused by the day and this somehow makes it feel like Love is just a trivial and casual stuff. Is that how y'all see Love?
Ha! Haha!
Sorry... That's not my perception of love. As far as I'm concerned, I never see Love as something trivial. Whenever I'm in my deepest thoughts, I end up seeing Love as something that takes the grace of God in some sense to be displayed genuinely. We see this very often when people are in a relationship that's characterized by Love.
Anyone in that sort of relationship always displays this visible willingness to sacrifice a part of himself/herself for the person he/she loves.
One of the most fascinating things about people in a relationship that's characterized by Love is that even when each of them is filled with vulnerability and capable of doing terrible things, they still show an adorable part of themselves to their loved ones and they are always ready to go far and beyond to make sure that the person they love is fine and okay.
Mothers! Haha. Y'all are amazing creatures!
I'm glad I have a Mum who pushes herself hard to be the best possible Mum I can ever ask for. My Mum is an amazing being and the way she takes care of our family is adorable. I can go on and on to talk about how I appreciate the mother/child love that exists between my Mum and our household, but let me pause for a while because today is not going to be about her.
Today is about another super adorable Mum. She ticks all the boxes of motherhood and she's one of a kind. Yeah. This day is about my hyperactive Cousin, @nkemakonam89, the mother of 3 energetic soldier boys. Haha.
I've always wondered what it takes to have kids that are well-disciplined. I know from experience that it's not an easy thing to train kids. However, every time I see the way my Cousin runs her home and the way she carries herself, it brings an interesting perspective into the picture. Her actions show that if you are in a motherhood position and you want to have disciplined kids, you need to first be a really good Mom to them.
My Cousin plays her motherhood role with so much love and care. She shows so much with her actions and I genuinely appreciate the fact that none of her kids uses cuss words. It's not even a surprise because ever since I knew her from my childhood, I've never seen her use any cuss words. This part of her is nurtured into the kids and I've never seen any of them cuss at each other.
She's a Mum who's very honest, hardworking, and productive and she continuously delays instant gratification for the sake of the greater good. These qualities of hers have transitioned her into a Mum who gives her best for her kids and you need to see when she's running from room to room just to hide and do stuff online. Haha. Her kids can't get enough of her so, whenever they are home, they always love to be with her. That shows you how much they enjoy the moments they spend with her.
She prioritises the welfare of her family and I like how she's also very interested in the academics of the kids. Despite the busyness of her daily motherhood lifestyle in addition to the busy schedule she has regarding the stuff she does online, she always carves out enough time to hang out with her kids and spend quality time with them.
I wouldn't end this without giving a special mention to her culinary skills. Omoh! Whenever she enters her kitchen to do something as basic as boiling an egg, she does that with a 5-star standard. Haha. I wonder when I will knock on her door again oOoOO. I need to book a spot on her dining table very soon.
God Bless You so much, Auntie Nkem. Haha. I can't call her Cousin to her face. It just feels weird. Auntie sounds just fine.
Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop Or Comma.
