Oh, my! I'm so glad to watch as the clock danced into a new month. Sometimes it feels like the year is running at full speed. Other times it feels like a very slow passage of time.
Ladies and gentlemen of Hive Blockchain, Happy New Month to you all. Let's quickly have an interesting discussion about what this month (can also be the rest of the year) holds in store for all of us.
I will go first;
I've been doing a lot of thinking and research about the next step for my activities on the blockchain. There is no denying that my life has been built around the things that go on in this space.
I wake up every day and obsess about how to make the best post possible. I have things I do online (though not yet financially sustainable) that are time-consuming enough to keep me away from writing on my blog page, but I've discovered that I enjoy the creative process involved with publishing stuff in this space.
Writing is something I care about and it makes me happy to have a space here to publish my stuff. It's also exciting to know that someone can jump on it and give it a good read.
You need to see how excited I get whenever I finish editing a post. The joy of publishing stuff in this space is beyond imagination. Writing has also been a source of healing, inspiration and learning for me. It means so much to me and I want to improve.
I want to do better and that's why I'm planning to dive deep into the areas of writing that suits my lifestyle. I am ready in every way, shape and form.
My writing style is in the Creative Non-fiction category and I have plans to blend this writing technique with the activities I get involved with during my leisure time. I imagined it will be interesting to consistently generate content from these areas.
In this regard, I will be exploring the following;
1. Film Reviews and Recommendations.
I should be saying Kdrama reviews here but I will leave the gap open in case I ever feel like reviewing something outside the Kdrama industry. I don't see that happening, but it may just happen.
That being said, I will be shining light on the Kdrama industry as a whole - reviews, recommendations, ratings and much more.
2. Sports Analysis.
To be more specific, the focus is on football. EPL, UCL, FPL and World Cup. I like to say that football pundits and fans are talkative. It's like an occupational hazard for us. The type we are very proud of. Haha.
So, look forward to my stuff about football. I'm also looking forward to exploring podcasting and Vlogging about these, but I can't put a date on it at the moment. One step at a time.
3. History and Humanities
This is the part I'm very excited about. I've been learning about Korea's history for almost 10 years, in a lackadaisical manner.
I know little about many things concerning their history and I've been learning them because it's fun. Now, I want to go back to the drawing board in a more serious manner and refresh my memory about the ones I already know while learning more about the ones I'm yet to know.
I will be sharing a lot of these here although I'm still having internal conflict about the best community to publish stuff like that. I guess I will have to figure it out in due time.
The first publication I will be making in this segment will be about 'Donghak peasants revolution in 1894, Joseon'. It's a massive story with several parts to it so, it will be coming as a series.
For the record, Joseon is one of the many names Korea had before it became the Korea we all know at the moment.
Y'all are up for a treat.
Note: I will also be writing my usual lifestyle content, personal growth posts, self-help articles and other stuff that catches my fancy.
The rest of this year will be good and I hope to learn more and get better in my writing journey.
