Hello, it's three tunes day. C'mon, let's have a blast with this.
For the record, #ttt (Three Tunes Tuesday) is an ongoing initiative which is organised by
@ablaze for all music lovers. Catch the full gist about that HERE.
I must say that a lot is happening around me at the moment and my mind seems to be like a house divided amongst itself. Likely, any other person in my situation would easily lose his cool and say or do things he or she wasn't supposed to say. But, I am who I am and I've come far enough to know how to keep my emotions under check.
In this edition of three tunes Tuesday, it will be an honour to share some tunes that can help you calm your nerves whenever it seems like the world is turning upside down. Hehe. They are tunes I enjoy listening to and I hope you will also enjoy them.
1. Thank You by Dido
Dido already did a good job on this song, but up to this very moment, I still don't know what to prioritize between this song and the remix which has Eminem in it. Hehe. They are both phenomenal in their way, but today is all about Dido.
The chorus of the song can never get old. The best bit about it for me is that it goes beyond the song itself. This music is an embodiment of some old memories of mine and I always have a rush whenever I listen to it. Of course, I'm thankful for every step I've taken so far and I'm ready to take more steps.
2. Summer Breeze by Seals & Crofts
No music video? No problem!
This is the sorta song you want to be listening to while receiving a cool breeze in a beautiful garden. In my case, it would be too much of a hassle to walk down to some garden in No Man's Land, so I sit back at home, turn on the fan and vibe to this song while enjoying the cool breeze from the fan.
This is a really old song. I don't think there is a music video for this, but I can remember listening to it on radio Stations back in the days of radios. Haha. It's such a hit. A brilliant and heartwarming song.
3. High Enough by k.flay
God bless those YouTube folks that prepare football skill compilations. Haha. They are the ones that made me fall head over heels for this particular song and I've never regretted adding it to my playlist. It's such a vibe. A killer vibe.
The lyrics of this song are very thoughtfully written and I always listen to it with a sort of reaffirming seriousness. It makes me feel good about never messing with drugs. But, the moment I saw the music video, it gave an entirely different vibe. It's a hilarious video and it manages to still pass the 'No to Drugs' message without making it too serious.
Have a nice time with these songs and enjoy every part of it.
Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop Or Comma
