Only a select few are able to see the true beauty that lies behind what just might seem like a rainy day or a grey sky.

Hello Bees! At the start of every week, I look forward to Sundays because it's my REST day. It's been a cool, sublime and restful day for me and I thought to write about how the rainy weather made my day under the tag #SublimeSunday instigated by @c0ff33a.
I woke up late to see heavy, dark clouds in the sky and everyone anticipated it would rain sometime today. When exactly? I cannot tell. At the time of writing this post (4.41pm my time), the rain has not fallen yet.
One thing I am observant of is that the weather has a way of affecting our moods. There are days the weather becomes unbearably hot with the sun shining down on us with a vengeance. On such days, I realize tempers are high and almost everyone becomes irritated. Who wouldn't be, with such uncomfortable weather?
Then we have days wherein the rain gathers in the cloud and everyone heaves a sigh of relief, anticipating the rainfall so the grounds can be soaking wet (and muddy, ugh) and plants can receive some nourishment. We need the rain to grow our foods.
I don't know if I am alone on this, but I like the dark clouds heavy with rain. I like the way the atmosphere becomes cooler as the breeze blows with the scent of rain in it. I like how the heavy clouds cover up the sun and save my delicate skin from its wrath (lol!!). I like how the rain clouds paint the earth in a cool, serene colour and this makes me happy.
The weather certainly affects my mood but in a positive way. As you can see from the attached images, the heavy clouds rolled in. The atmosphere looks beautiful so I stood outside my residential estate to take some pictures of the dark clouds.
Some people are hurrying up to get to their homes or destinations before the rain starts. Can you sight that individual up there on the roof? I have no idea what he's doing there but I can guess he's trying to mend, maybe a leaking hole so his home is not drenched in water. That's life, I guess. We make do with what we have.
Does your mood change with the weather like mine? Tell me the type of weather you like best and don't say warm weather please. LOL!
Happy Sunday, folks!
