I'm really going out of my comfort zone doing this, but what have I got to lose, right?

I've always loved to cook. I can remember getting out of middle school and rushing home to watch the after school special and bake cookies with my Nana. She was THE BEST baker ever, her pie crust was out of this world. She told me all her secrets and tips on how to make it just like she did, and I (according to my best critics, the family) make it just as good as hers, if not better.

But I'm not really here to talk about pies, I found a new passion in decorating cakes. I am by no means a professional cake decorator, but I really enjoy doing it and they do end up looking pretty awesome.

I always make the cake from scratch, no boxed crap here. I am pretty famous for my chocolate cake, which is requested regularly by my family. Some of the pictures here are of my cheesecakes (another popular request from my friends and family.

So here are just a few pictures of the cakes I've done in the past, let me know what you think! image ![image]
