I was standing in the rain in Vancouver's Gas Town district waiting for the steam-powered clock to blow its whistle. I had my shot all planned out... the metal posts & chain for a foreground, the reflections off the wet cobblestones, and steam pouring out of the clock. The problem was these other photographers. They had waited as long as me and they weren't about to move, so I decided to "feature" them in the shot.

This is my entry for Deranged Photography Contest, Night Theme, in the Pro tier.

Want to hear the clock? Check out the video I found on Youtube.
