This will be a short and sweet post explaining some commonly used words in the crypto world that i believe you should most definitely know and become familiar with. Sure you can look them up on Wiki but i'm going to try to explain these words as simply as i can. I am not going to go into great detail for each, but enough to give you a good idea.
- FOMO - Fear Of Missing Out Usually caused by social media posts or news. This is where you emotions can destroy your thinking ability.
- FUD - Fear Of Uncertainty And Doubt Usually started by a competitor of another currency, to get investors to make bad decisions.
- Moon - To The Moon When a coin sky rockets for profits.
- Whale - Someone with tons of money that can sometimes manipulate the markets.
- Pump And Dump - When a group of people cause a ton of excitement about a coin and raises the price, but then sells out when it reaches its peak.
- HODL - Hold On For Dear Life Basically saying to hold on to that coin for a long period of time in hopes the coin becomes much higher in value.
This was just a few words that get thrown around a lot. The words can be explained in a more deep explanation but this will at least give you a good idea when you see it written somewhere.
