The day i did my first travel to a state call nasarawa state in Nigeria was really a moment that made me to really understand that I need to go and learn more language more than i know before, though even before now it has been in my mind to learn many of the Nigerian language as much as i can but just that i have not seen who to teach me most of the language in which i have in mind to learn most especially the three major languages we have in Nigeria starting from the Hausa language and the Yoruba language, i know the Igbo language already as it is my own language already....
My first movement/travel to nasarawa state was really enjoyable when i was going. On my way going i really enjoyed it starting from the things and the places i passed and i have been longing to go to the north before then so the moment i heard about the seminar to the nasarawa state i was very happy to travel to the north part of nigeria.
It was really cool and enjoyable to visit the northern state but after i enjoyed this , the moment i started regretting this movement was the moment we reached our destination in lafia ,in nasarawa state and it was as if language changed because when we reached what the people know is that their language, it is very rare for you to see who will understand the english language that is a general language even the pigin language that we often use in Nigeria it use to be very hard to see who will understand you.
The most difficult time was any time me and my friend use to go and eat we will explain explain and get very tired but no one will understand you.
That moment was very embarrassing because that time we will be explaining to the bike people everyday anytime we are going out the only node their heads but i don't think the understand because at the end they will just Carry you to another location.
It was that language issues most especially anytime we are going to eat that made us learn the little Hausa we learnt then for us to make sure we don't miss our destination before our people will start looking for us.
