Adult Swine Malware

Security firm CheckPoint discovered a new malware in google app store. Malware is being named "Adult Swine". The bug displayed advertisements for pornographic sites from within the website. It was found in atleast 60 game apps on google Play store and mainly targetting the children games. Apps according to google have been downloaded around 3 to 7 million times.

How AdultSwine Works

It works in three different forms.

• Displaying inappropriate images of pornographic nature and mostly working on games intended for children.
• Tricking users into installing fake security apps and could further result in theft of user other credentials.
• Induces a particular user to register to premium services and that too on user expenses.

A few are name of games which were infected by this malware are:

• Shin Hero Boy Adventure Game
• Drawing Lessons Lego Ninjago
• Subway Surf
• Paw Puppy Run
  etc...
