Hello, hello dear artisan and creative friends of this beautiful community. "Better late than never" they say. So I'm here to share with you one more Monday in our usual needlework Monday. In my post today I share the process of making a cute crochet crop top.
This crop top is very simple and quick to make; The basic stitch is the same one used to knit granny squares. In fact, the first thing to do is knit 3 granny triangles. To knit these triangles I worked alternating 4 colors from a color palette that ranges between blue and gray tones, in addition to white.
The size of each triangle will depend on the person's bust size. In this case I knitted a total of 8 rows for each triangle, that is, 2 rows for each color. Usually, this type of crop tops are made with only 2 triangles for the bust area, but on this occasion I made it with 3 pieces to make the neckline much more discreet and conservative.
Once you have the three pieces knitted, the next step is to join them to form the front of the crop top. To join them, they must be sewn with a wool needle and the thread of the main color of the garment, in this case it is dark gray. Then the shot that will form the back of the top is knitted and on this shot the base of the top begins to be knitted.

The next thing would be to knit the straps, but in this case, the straps will be made with fabric, since this crop top will be the bodice for a summer dress in which I will combine crochet with sewing, placing a fabric skirt.
