Blessed day dear needleworkers, I hope you are having a great week. It's a nice pleasure to post again this week in our community.
Today I bring you a very simple and easy to make project.
As I mentioned in the previous post, my goal is to use all the material, yarn and wool, that I have at home, before going out to buy more.
That's why I decided to make a project with scraps of nylon, which is my favorite yarn for knitting purses, bags and pencil cases. This is a very particular crochet ball, it has a super easy to knit pattern and it is ideal to work with leftover yarns, threads or stamens that have been left over from previous projects.
I saw this project in a You Tube video, when I was looking for ideas to use the smaller yarn scraps I have in my yarn box. When I saw the process of making this ball, I found it very fun and especially very easy to knit, so I did not hesitate to knit it. So I took these four pieces of nylon and began the work.
I made a base chain of about 10 cm and from there I made 6 rows of single crochet stitches, until I obtained a rectangle.
The project is so simple that it consists of knitting three rectangles of the same size. So I took another color and repeated the process.
For the third rectangle I didn't have enough scraps, so I knitted it in three different colors. The important thing was to finish the project and see the final result.
With the three pieces ready, the next step was to sew both ends of the first and the second rectangle together.
Then with the two rectangles, now in the shape of a ring, insert one inside the other. One vertically and the other horizontally.
The third rectangle is inserted in an interlocking manner between the two rings, as shown in the picture. The edges of this third piece are then sewn together to form the ball.
The last step is to introduce some anti-allergic padding inside the woven ball to give it even more firmness.
Espero que les agrade este peque帽o proyecto y quiz谩 se animen a realizarlo.
Gracias por leer, saludos!
As you can see, the end result is a very simple but beautiful knitted ball. I gave this ball as a gift to my nephew and we had a lot of fun playing with it for a while.
I hope you like this little project and maybe you will be encouraged to make it.
Thanks for reading, greetings!
