El día de hoy les traigo mi experiencia en la Cómic Con de Noviembre 😎✌🏻 (Spoiler alert: Traigo mucho #Chisme)
How can it be otherwise in this Post I bring you excess of geek content 🎉🙌🏻 why in this Comic Con they showed off again.
Well, maybe some of you remember in my previous post what I told you that for this event I would have my friends to finally do the group cosplay... Well... things happened and only one of them came 😭.
I'll tell you everything in detail in my next post, but the moral of that whole story is that even when we are adults, we must be very careful to whom we offer our friendship and be clear who is with us in good times and bad.

Bueno, quizás algunos recuerden en mi post anterior lo que les conté que para este evento tendría a mis amigas para finalmente hacer el Cosplay grupal… Pues… cosas pasaron y solo vino una de ellas 😭
Ya les contaré todo detalladamente en mi próximo post, pero la moraleja de toda esa historia es que aún cuando somos adultos, debemos tener mucho cuidado a quien le brindamos nuestra amistad y tener en claro quién está con nosotros en las buenas y las malas.
Anyway, I'm getting too caught up. This time I was able to pay for my tickets through Paypal 👌🏻 which is a great thing for those of us who are freelancers and receive our payments through that platform.
Since I thought at least two of my friends would go, I paid for 4 tickets... After what happened, I had 1 left over, so my husband asked me to give it to his cousin, who became an Otaku during the pandemic (those little things that happen 😂).
En fin, me enrollo demasiado. En esta oportunidad pude pagar mis entradas a través de Paypal 👌🏻 lo cual es todo un acierto para quienes somos freelancer y recibimos nuestros pagos por esa plataforma.
Cómo yo pensaba que al menos dos de mis amigas irían, yo pagué 4 entradas… Después de lo que pasó, me sobraba 1, así que mi esposo me pidió que se la regalará a su primo, que durante la pandemia se volvió Otaku (esas cositas que pasan pues 😂)
Well the night before I tried (again) to do magic and paint my hair purple with a German product that promised wonders... The result was the same 😅 don't try to paint your hair if you have never bleached it before because it won't hold 😂
Bueno la noche anterior yo intenté (nuevamente) hacer magia y pintarme el cabello de morado con un producto alemán que prometía maravillas… El resultado fue el mismo 😅 no intenten pintar el cabello si no lo han decolorado nunca por qué no les va a agarrar 😂
This time the economy was not for manicure and pedicure, so I had to do my own, with the advantage that I already have the perfect shade to match the outfit 💅💁🏻
The next morning, we stood up early but relaxed because this time my mom would be the one taking care of Pua.
However, as everything in life is a process 🙄 this time we had to run after breakfast, because my husband's cousin forgot to tell us that he was coming on the bus from La Guaira and instead of us waiting for him quietly, it was the little boy who had to wait.
Fortunately the wait was not long, and luckily for us it was still early. We left on the metro and arrived in a heartbeat 😎(lucky for us, the metro was working fast)
Esta vez la economía no estaba para manicure y pedicure, así que me tocó arreglarme yo solita, con la ventaja que ya tengo el tono perfecto que combina con el traje 💅💁🏻♀️
A la mañana siguiente, nos paramos temprano pero relajados porque está vez mi mamá sería la que cuidaría a Púa.
Sin embargo, como todo en vida es un proceso 🙄 está vez sí nos tocó correr después de desayunar, porque al primo de mi esposo se le olvidó avisarnos que ya venía subiendo en el bus desde la Guaira y en vez de ser nosotros los que lo esperábamos tranquilamente, fue el muchachito el que tuvo que esperar.
Afortunadamente no fue mucha la espera, y para nuestra suerte aún era temprano. Nos fuimos en el metro y llegamos en un suspiro 😎(para nuestra suerte, el metro estaba trabajando rápido)
Well, since this is the biggest geek culture event in Caracas, I had to coordinate where my friend and my brother were.
My brother arrived at 8 am because he left suuuueper early from his dad's house which is in La Tahona (that is, far but far away) and that's why he was first in line 🤩.
We arrived and started talking, when suddenly the photographers of the event arrived and took a video of us 😍 it was our ✨"I was on the cover"✨ moment.
Pues bien, como este es el evento de cultura geek más grande de Caracas, yo tenía que coordinar donde estaba mi amiga y mi hermano.
Mi hermano llegó a las 8 de la mañana porque salió suuuueper temprano de la casa de su papá que queda en la Tahona (es decir, bien pero bien lejos) y por eso fue el primero de la fila 🤩
Nosotros llegamos y nos pusimos a hablar, en lo que de repente llegan los fotógrafos del evento y nos tomaron un vídeo 😍 fue nuestro momento de ✨"Salí en la portada"✨
Well, even though my brother had arrived early, he had to wait for everyone who had presale tickets (like us) to go through and by all this my friend hadn't arrived.
We went to the event to wait in line at the box office. There I met another friend who was working at the box office, he read us the QR code and gave us the tickets... This part may arouse negative emotions, so I begged them to remember, we are all human....
Bueno, aunque mi hermano hubiese llegado temprano, él tenía que esperar a que pasarán todos los que tenían entradas de preventa (como nosotros) y a todas estas mi amiga no había llegado.
Pasamos al evento a hacer la cola de la taquilla. Allí me encontré con otro amigo que estaba trabajando en la boletería, nos leyó el código QR y nos dio las entradas… Esta parte puede despertar emociones negativas, así que les suplique recuerden, todos somos humanos…
I had bought 4 tickets... My husband counted and we got 5... An honorable citizen would have returned the extra ticket (it crossed my mind I swear) but the viveza criolla got the better of me. I called my brother to come up and gave him the extra ticket 🤷🏻
Well at that my friend also arrived and I had to talk to a guard to explain that I had her ticket. Finally we passed and went straight to the changing rooms, but it already felt that special magic that you can only feel in a big event ✨🤩.
We were lucky enough to see the guest of this occasion, Romina Marroquí, while she was rehearsing her presentation on the stage and to record her close 😍 that was really lucky.
Romina is the voice actress who gives voice to Princess Anna in Frozen, Rapunzel in the Tangled series, Judy Hopps in Zootopia, Vados in DBS and Princess Candece in My Little Pony 😍😍 (Did I see a series for 5-9 year old girls when I was 20? Yes 😎)
Yo había comprado 4 entradas… Mi esposo contó y nos dieron 5… Un ciudadano honorable hubiese regresado la entrada extra (paso por mi mente se los juro) pero la viveza criolla se apoderó de mí. Llamé a mi hermano para que subiera y le di la entrada extra 🤷🏻♀️
Bueno en eso también llegó mi amiga y tuve que hablar con un guardia para explicarle que yo tenía su entrada. Finalmente pasamos y nos fuimos directo a los cambiadores, pero ya se sentía esa magia especial que sólo puedes sentir en un evento grande ✨🤩
Tuvimos la suerte de ver a la invitada de esta ocasión, Romina Marroquí, mientras ensayaba su presentación en la tarima y de grabarla cerquita 😍 eso fue toda una suerte.
Romina es la actriz de doblaje que le da voz a la princesa Anna de Frozen, de Rapunzel en la serie de enredados, de Judy Hopps en Zootopia, Vados en DBS y de la princesa Candece en My Little Pony 😍😍 (¿Que si me vi una serie para niñas de 5-9 años teniendo 20? Si 😎)
After that quick break, now we really went to the changing rooms and ¡oh lala! We were DI-VI-NES 😎
Después de esa pausa rápida, ahora sí nos fuimos a los cambiadores y ¡oh lala! Estábamos DI-VI-NAS 😎
I didn't really like that my friend didn't put so much effort into her outfit (being her the dressmaker) but well, the important thing was to have a good time 😊
When we went out there was a moment that I have rarely experienced... Rejecting someone who asks for my number 😅
The thing was that the guys were playing in the video game area. We went and since it wasn't too crowded I took the opportunity to have a round on Tekken too.
Well apparently I caught the attention of the boy I was playing with and he asked for my number... in front of my husband 😂😂😂😂 I won't lie it was one of my favorite moments 😂😂😂😂😂
No me gustó mucho que mi amiga no le haya puesto tanto empeño a su traje (siendo ella la modista) pero bueno, lo importante era pasarla bien 😊
Cuando salimos tuvo lugar un momento que pocas veces me ha tocado experimentar… Rechazar a alguien que me pida el número 😅
La cosa fue que los muchachos estaban jugando en la zona de videojuegos. Nosotras fuimos y como no estaba muy lleno aproveché yo también para echar un round en el Tekken.
Bueno aparentemente le llamé la atención al muchacho con el que estaba jugando y me pidió el número… delante de mi esposo 😂😂😂 no mentiré fue uno de mis momentos favoritos 😂😂😂
Well already after if we went to tour the stores. We were a little out of phase because everyone has their own rhythms and is attracted by different things.
The truth is that we went to the stand of the guests and thank God they kept the protocol of the last time. We were able to meet and talk with Romina and I swear to God what a beautiful person ❤️
We were talking for about 6 minutes recommending her things about our Venezuelan gastronomy and places and she took note of everything and got us talking 😍 she is a real sweetheart ❤️
Bueno ya después si nos fuimos a recorrer las tiendas. Estábamos un poco desfasados porque cada quien lleva sus ritmos y le llama la atención cosas diferentes.
Lo cierto es que fuimos al stand de los invitados y gracias a Dios mantuvieron el protocolo de la última vez. Pudimos conocer y hablar con Romina y les juro por Dios que persona tan hermosa ❤️
Estuvimos hablando como por 6 minutos recomendándole cosas de nuestra gastronomía venezolana y lugares y ella tomaba nota de todo y nos sacaba conversación 😍 es un amor de verdad que si ❤️
Then I made use of my little Portuguese to talk to the guest artist from Brazil, Daniel HDR. This man has worked for DC, Marvel, Dark Horse and Dynamite.
Equally charming and very chatty. He'd had a difficult family situation in the last few days, so he was a gentleman not to cancel his engagement and honor us with his presence.

Igualmente encantador y muy conversador. En los últimos días había tenido una situación familiar difícil, así que fue todo un caballero al no cancelar su compromiso y honrarnos con su presencia.
Finally we went to greet the guys from Lygno Comics, one of the first 100% Venezuelan comics houses and that in this opportunity they were promoting one of their most popular works, Santa Sofia.
Believe it or not, it was a success, the volumes sold like hotcakes and it was a joy to know that in Venezuela we are taking the first strong steps to produce our own comics and manga.
Por último pasamos a saludar a los chicos de Lygno Comics, una de las primeras casas de comics 100% venezolana y que en esta oportunidad estaban promocionando una de sus obras más populares, Santa Sofía.
Pues creanlo o no, fue todo un éxito, los tomos se vendieron como pan caliente y fue toda una alegría saber que en Venezuela estamos dando los primeros pasos fuertes para producir nuestros propios comics y mangas.
After there we decided to split up because there were many of us and it was a bit uncomfortable to be walking in a hurry or waiting.

As expected there were a lot of brutal cosplays to take pictures with so here's a little taste. My favorite picture was with Sakura from Sakura Card Captor 😍 that cosplay is coming gentlemen, just a warning 😂

After there, we went to see Romina's presentation, which was FA-BU-LO-US 😭 God what a spectacular voice, but not only that, but there I found out that she is the singer of one of my favorite themes of Inuyasha ¡AND I SINGED A LITTLE WITH HER! That moment was worth gold, and I have it recorded for posterity 🤩
Después de allí, pasamos a ver la presentación de Romina, la cuál estuvo FA-BU-LO-SA 😭 Dios que voz tan espectacular, pero no solo fue eso, sino que allí me enteré que ella es la cantante de uno de mis temas preferidos de Inuyasha ¡Y CANTÉ UN PEDACITO CON ELLA! Ese momento valió oro, y lo tengo grabado para la posteridad 🤩

After there we left the event for "lunch". I'll just say that from so much time going out in "popular" areas I forgot that people pay very expensive things just for being in a high strata area.
On the positive side, we had a great time talking about everything we were doing separately. My husband didn't see the presentation, but he was playing FIFA for two hours on the PS5. I think it's acceptable 😂
On our way back, we saw Elvis Presley and Merida from Valiente. Of course we had to have a picture 😂
Luego de allí salimos del evento para "almorzar". Solo diré que de tanto tiempo saliendo por zonas "populares" se me olvidó que la gente paga cosas muy caras solo por estar en una zona de estrato alto.
Lo positivo, es que pasamos un momento chévere hablando de todo lo que estuvimos haciendo por separado. Mi esposo no vio la presentación, pero estuvo jugando dos horas FIFA en la PS5. Me parece aceptable 😂
A nuestro regreso, vimos a Elvis Presley y a Mérida de Valiente. Obvio teníamos que tener foto 😂
Well believe it or not by this time it was already 4pm and I still wanted to go for one more ride (thank God I did).
On that ride we ran into my friend who had already finished his shift and also wanted to go for a ride, so we did and after the last shopping, my friend and I went to change, but we found a girl with the Princess Mononoke cosplay and obviously I needed that photo 😎
Pues creanlo o no para este momento ya eran las 4pm y yo todavía quería dar una vuelta más (gracias a Dios que lo hice)
En esa vuelta nos encontramos con mi amigo que ya había terminado su turno y también quería dar una vuelta, así que lo hicimos y luego de las últimas compras, mi amiga y yo nos fuimos a cambiar, pero encontramos a una chica con el cosplay de la Princesa Mononoke y obvio necesitaba esa foto 😎
Now we left and before leaving the mall, I took the opportunity to immortalize that great moment of having many friends (and a husband) who like so many of the same things.
Ahora sí, ya nos fuimos y antes de salir del centro comercial, aproveche para inmortalizar ese momento tan genial de tener muchos amigos (y un esposo) a los que nos guste tanto las mismas cosas
When we arrived home, Púa welcomed us happily and we had a full house, since my dad had just come home from work. Our cousin had no choice but to sleep on the sofa 😂.
Now I will show you what I bought and tell you a little anecdote that defines why it is not good to be embarrassed when doing business.
Al llegar a casa, Púa nos recibió contenta y estábamos a casa llena, pues mi papá había llegado de trabajar. A nuestro primo no le quedó de otra sino dormir en el sofá 😂
Ahora sí, les mostraré lo que compré y les contaré una pequeña anécdota que define porque no es bueno tener vergüenza cuando se hacen negocios

The thing is that originally this pack did not come with the red pants doll, but with a little black-haired doll, as I show you below.
Bien, la anécdota sucede con estas tres figuras.
La cosa es que originalmente este pack no venía así con la muñequita del pantalón rojo, sino con un muñequito de pelo negro, como les muestro a continuación.
well it turns out that I begged to the girl who was selling them so that she would change the maledoll for the doll, but she didn't want to, because of her marketing strategy (nobody wanted the maledoll with black hair because that character has silver hair, and I personally prefer the doll).
I didn't make it there, but thank God I walked around one last time and that's where I found another stand that was also selling those figures, but more expensive and separately.
I made a deal with the girl and paid the change at half price and bought 3 posters from her 😎.
I got my way, the store girl didn't lose any money and our cousin walked away with one more poster. Everyone happy and happy because I had no shame to negotiate ✌🏻✨.
Bueno resulta que yo le jale las señoras ⚾⚾ a la chica que las vendía para que me cambiara al muñeco por la muñeca, pero ella no quiso, por su estrategia de marketing (nadie quería al muñeco con el pelo negro porque ese personaje tiene el pelo plateado, y yo personalmente prefiero a la muñeca)
No logré mi cometido allí, pero gracias a Dios me dio por caminar una última vuelta y fue allí donde encontré otro stand que también estaba vendiendo esas figuras, pero más costosas y por separado.
Llegué a un trato con la chica y pagué el cambio a mitad de precio y le compré 3 afiches 😎
Yo logré mi cometido, la chica de la tienda no perdió dinero y nuestro primo se fue con un póster más. Todos contentos y felices porque no tuve pena de negociar ✌🏻✨
