Procedure:
1st step:
I started by drafting the pattern for the upper section—the part that would cover the back and the upper belly area—creating a roughly uniform square shape that was narrower at the top and wider at the bottom.
Then, I placed the pattern on the fabric and cut out the front and back pieces for the top of the little garment, using double layers to ensure greater durability and a nicer finish.
For the skirt section, I simply had to gather a rectangle of fabric and attach it to the back.

Procedimiento:
1er paso:
Comencé patronando el estilo de la parte de arriba, o area que cubriria lomo y parte de la barriguita. Donde hice una especie de cuadrado uniforme con el lado de arriba fino y el lado de abajo mas ancho.
Luego coloque encima de la tela y saque el delantero y trasero de la parte alta de la batica, sacando piezas dobles, para darle mas resistencia y un acabado mas bonito.
En el caso de la faldita, solo habia que fruncir un rectángulo y colocarlo para la parte trasera de la misma.

2nd step:
Next, I joined the front and back pieces separately, leaving the bottom and sides of the back piece unjoined, while for the front piece, I joined only the sides.
Once these areas were modified, I proceeded to create the casing for the elastic on the front piece, positioning it at the bottom. Then, I joined the sides using French seams, achieving a more professional, clean, and attractive finish.

2do paso:
Luego uni ambas piezas del delantero y del trasero por separado, dejando la parte de abajo y laterales de la parte trasera sin unir, mientras que la del delantero fueron solo los laterales.
Una vez modificadas estas áreas. Procedo a hacer el puente para el elástico en la pieza del frente, quedando ubicado en la parte de abajo de la cachorrita.
Uniendo luego con costuras francesas por los laterales, logrando una terminación mas profesional, limpia y bonita.

Step 3:
Finally, I attached the already hand-gathered ruffle—or rectangular panel—to the back of the robe, positioning the first ruffle on the inside and securing the entire edge with a long, straight stitch.
I then placed the second ruffle a few centimeters higher up to create a more eye-catching, lovely volume.
Next, I joined the side seams of both pieces and applied a zigzag stitch to ensure greater durability and sturdiness for the garment.
To add a charming touch, I finished it off with two sweet, beautiful bows at the top of the ruffles.

3er paso:
Por ultimo, uni el vuelo o rectángulo ya fruncido a mano a la parte trasera de la bata, colocando el 1er vuelo por dentro, rematando todo el borde con una puntada larga y recta. Para luego colocarle el otro vuelo unos cm pas arriba, logrando un volumen mas vistoso y bonito.
Seguido empato ambas piezas por los laterales y aplico una puntada en zig zag, para darle más durabilidad y firmeza a mi prenda.
Añadiendole un toque coqueto, con dos tiernos y hermosos lazos en la parte alta de los vuelos.
