Estoy bien emocionada, pues adoro el reciclado de ropa, y hace unos dias me encontre entre tantos tesoros que tenia guardados para proyectos textiles futuros, un lindo vestido muy veraniego, con una textura deliciosa para el verano y los viajes para mis vacaciones.
Pues este era muy largo, fue un obsequio de una clienta que estaba fascinada y feliz con mi trabajo. El mismo tenia un diseño precioso, pero yo deseaba algo mas descubierto y unico.
Asi que me puse en funcion y rediseñe un poco todo el estilo, os invito a acompañarme en esta bonita aventura entre telas y hilos...

Procedimiento:
1er paso:
Comence recortando por la cintura, en este caso la costura del centro, parte que unia la falda a la blusa. Luego de separar la parte alta a la parte baja del vestido, realice un corte de 6dedos de ancho aproximadamente. Esta parte seria empleada para hacer el lazo o cinturon que amarra la blusa.
Procedure:
1st step:
I started by cutting out the waist, in this case the center seam, the part that joined the skirt to the blouse. After separating the top from the bottom of the dress, I made a cut approximately 6 fingers wide. This part would be used to make the bow or belt that ties the blouse.
2do paso:
Una vez recortado, tome la parte baja, y le realice el dobladillo por todo el contorno. A la parte superior le realice el mismo procedimiento y luego le pase un elástico para que esa zona quedara mas firme y justa al cuerpo.
2nd step:
Once cut out, take the lower part and hem it all the way around. To the upper part, do the same procedure and then pass an elastic so that this area will be firmer and more fitting to the body.
3er paso:
Tome la parte sobrantede la falda, y le realice un dobladillo por todo el contorno. Luego a cada punta, la doble por la mitad y pase una costura en forma de arco. Este proceso lo realice con el reves de la tela, y uni las dos partes, haciendo un mismo liston.
Step 3:
Take the excess part of the skirt, and hem it all the way around. Then fold each end in half and sew a bow seam. I did this process with the reverse side of the fabric, and joined the two parts together, making a single ribbon.
4to paso:
Por último uni la parte de arriba que ya estaba hecha, solo le realice su respectivo dobladillo y luego pase una pequeña costura por los laterales, dando solo una pequeña puntada, quedando unida la parte alta a la parte baja.
4th step:
Lastly, I joined the top part that was already done, I just hemmed it and then sewed a small seam on the sides, giving only a small stitch, joining the top part to the bottom part.
