Greetings, my appreciated and respected friends of Hive and especially to the members of the Throwback Thursday community, since I started my passage through this community, I look forward to Thursdays to share my most beautiful memories, which I keep in images, for today I bring you some pictures of almost two years ago, specifically from January 2023, I am from Venezuela and specifically from the State of Lara, The 14th of January is a special day for those who were born in this land, since it commemorates the day of the image of La Divina Pastora, which goes in procession from a town called Santa Rosa, to the capital of the state, as is Barquisimeto, the striking thing about this celebration in how crowded it is, since there are more than three million people who crowd the streets of Barquisimeto.

But the pictures that you can see here, do not belong to the day of the procession, these were a few days before, since the tradition also includes visiting the church that is located in the town of Santa Rosa in early January, it is very nice to see the amount of family that comes to this place, there are places to eat, many murals, a museum and the spectacular viewpoint, we live in Cabudare, We live in Cabudare, a town near the site where the church is located, it is only 5 minutes by car and on that occasion we all went for a walk, or the vast majority of the family, unfortunately, not everyone is present in the photographs, but if my brothers and parents, who are the closest, since the others went to walk and see the beauties that had the artists around the Bolivar square of the town mentioned above.

I clearly remember that this was a Sunday and that we left for Santa Rosa at about 9 in the morning, we had to leave early, since as the hours go by, it is not possible to enter this town, it is really impressive the amount of people that enter and leave during the whole day during those first weeks of the year, Even though we arrived early, we could not listen to the mass inside the church, it was completely full, we had to do it in the square, which at that time had quite a few people, when the mass was over we went out to look for a place to eat, and those businesses were also full, we had to wait in line and wait our turn to eat.

After we managed to eat, we went for a walk, it is there where we took pictures, some outside the church, others in the murals and in the viewpoint, we rested another while in the square, there we also took some pictures and shared under the trees. We really had a wonderful time, when we spend pleasant moments, time flies, when we realized the time, it was almost three in the afternoon, we went to the house of some relatives who live nearby to eat a nice soup and at the end of the afternoon we returned to our homes, I hope you like my TBT today and we will see each other next Thursday at the same time and for this beautiful community.
