Happy weekend, everyone!!
I hope you guys are doing great today 😊
Well, as for me, I had a simple day in the city with my family.
We went to K-Town (Korean Town) at Festive Walk. We were greeted with their iconic K-Town sign. This sign lights up in the evening, giving everyone a colorful welcome.
In this town, it is not just the sign that's colorful. Everything around here is beaming with colors.
This colorwave canopy is giving a kaleidoscope feeling. Different colors over your head while enjoying the colorful town. There were colorful flower pots, cozy benches, colorful lamp posts, and even the buildings were in pastel colors.
Some shops have colorful murals, chairs, tables, and counters.
We felt a different kind of excitement and energy while roaming around the town.
It would look awesome in the evening, but since we are not staying overnight in the city today, we won't see how stunning it would be. Maybe next time. 😊
After enjoying the colorful Festive Walk Parade, we went to the mall just a few steps away from K-town. We ordered our lunch.
I had my favorite pork BBQ. My husband had chicken Inasal, and my daughter had pork sisig. It was a simple lunch, but we enjoyed it. All the meals also come with soup and atsara (pickled green papaya). 😋
We ended our day with a full stomach. We almost didn't want to leave. 😁
I really enjoy simple moments like this with my family. No deadlines to catch, no rush, no pressure, just enjoying the day together. I hope you guys are having the same quality time with your family this weekend. If not, please find time. We all need money, that's why we all work hard, but our relationship with our family is more important. 💗
