Hive Open Mic Week 262. Cover: Perdona A Tu Pueblo Señor. By @karlex77. [ Subtitled in English]
@hiveopenmic, for this server is a pleasure to participate in this week 262, where we will be guided by the theme, Holy Week, I am from Venezuela and in this country and throughout the week, processions are made with images that represent the passion of Christ, My grandmother had the habit of taking us to these processions and during the processions, I remember the beautiful songs that were sung, including one that is called, Forgive Your People Lord, that is the theme I chose for my entry today, it brings back many memories and that was the main reason why I chose this theme, I hope you like it and enjoy my interpretation.FORGIVE YOUR PEOPLE, LORD
FORGIVE YOUR PEOPLE
FORGIVE HIM LORD
Don't be eternally angry
Don't be eternally angry
Forgive him Lord
For your deep cruel wounds
For your spittle and for your gall
Forgive him Lord
For your wounds of feet and hands
For the scourging so inhuman
Forgive him Lord
For the three nails they drove into you
For the thorns that pierced you
Forgive him Lord
For the three hours of agony
When you gave Mary to be your mother
Forgive him Lord
For the opening of your side
Do not be eternally angry
Forgive him Lord.

PERDONA A TU PUEBLO
PERDÓNALE SEÑOR
No estes eternamente enojado
No estes eternamente enojado
Perdonale Señor
Por tus profundas llagas crueles
Por tus salivas y por tus hieles
Perdónale Señor
Por tus heridas de pies y manos
Por los azotes tan inhumanos
Perdónale Señor
Por los tres clavos que te clavaron
Por las espinas que te punzaron
Perdónale Señor
Por las tres horas de agonía
En que por madre diste a María
Perdónale Señor
Por la abertura de tu costado
No estés eternamente enojado
Perdónale Señor.
