This means we will witness the final match of the great captain, Lionel Andrés Messi, wearing the jersey of his beloved national team.
For me, there is no better way to process this nostalgic moment than by capturing his legacy on paper. I drew this to pay tribute to the man I consider the greatest and most unique footballer in history. My admiration for Messi is nothing new; I have followed and admired him for a very long time—ever since those golden years when he dazzled the entire world at FC Barcelona.
For this special piece, I drew complete inspiration from his greatness. I decided to depict him from behind, wearing the iconic white-and-sky-blue jersey featuring his emblematic name and the legendary number 10. As a central touch, I will use gold for the details of the number and his surname, symbolizing all the trophies, Ballons d'Or, and the eternal glory he has brought to the sport. Hola, mis queridos amigos de Sketchbook. Espero que se encuentren muy bien y con muchas ganas de crear arte. El próximo 6 de octubre será una fecha que quedará marcada en la historia del deporte. Como dicen popularmente en Argentina, este día significará "el último baile". Esto quiere decir que presenciaremos el último partido del gran capitán, Lionel Andrés Messi, vistiendo la camiseta de su querida selección nacional.
Para mí, no existe una mejor manera de asimilar este momento tan nostálgico que plasmando su legado en papel. Lo dibuje para homenajear al que considero el mejor y único jugador de fútbol de toda la historia. Mi admiración por Messi no es algo nuevo; lo sigo y lo admiro hace muchísimo tiempo, desde aquellos años dorados en los que maravillaba al mundo entero en el Fútbol Club Barcelona.
Para esta obra especial, me inspiré por completo en su grandeza. He decidido dibujarlo de espaldas, luciendo la icónica camiseta albiceleste con su emblemático nombre y el legendario número 10. Como toque central, utilizaré el color dorado para los detalles del número y su apellido, simbolizando todas las copas, balones de oro y la gloria eterna que le ha dado al fútbol. ¡Acompáñenme en este emotivo proceso artístico!
