London is a cosmopolitan city filled with talented street artists. Street artist come from all over the world to share their talents. I have seen talented dancers, costume artists, and musicians.
One of my favorite street performers is captured in the photo above. Every morning he plays his jumba on the bridge closest to the London Eye. His cheerful voice is infectious, and it totally made me smile. While everyone is busily rushing around the streets, he takes time to say hello and good morning to people. I think it's a good reminder to others to stop, and slow down for a second. Look around and smell the roses, or in this case, listen to the music.
I also really enjoyed watching a dance group perform at Piccadilly Circus with @rea. Piccadilly Circus is filled with tons of street artists. If you are ever bored, and looking for something to do, just go to Piccadilly Circus, and you will find tons of shows to watch.
Just in case you haven't had a chance to visit London, I have made a short video, containing highlights from some of the street performances. Enjoy!
